USCCB - (NAB) - November 15, 2009

USCCB - (NAB) - November 15, 2009: "Reading II
Heb 10:11-14, 18
Brothers and sisters:
Every priest stands daily at his ministry,
offering frequently those same sacrifices
that can never take away sins.
But this one offered one sacrifice for sins,
and took his seat forever at the right hand of God;
now he waits until his enemies are made his footstool.
For by one offering
he has made perfect forever those who are being consecrated.
Where there is forgiveness of these,
there is no longer offering for sin."

Christ's sacrifice made us complete but we are still a work in progress toward holiness. Have you felts God gently tugging on your heart calling you toward holiness? How have you responded to this call?

  1. So many times in the day I feel God trying to get my attention. He is waiting for a response from me to just sit quiet for a moment and be with Him. Sometimes that is the hardest thing to do and every time it is the most rewarding.
