Magnificat is a women-to-women ministry which calls forth a lively faith in God and His actions in daily life, a love for Mary and for the Church, and deep holiness. Praying, fellowshipping, reading the Sacred Scriptures, teaching, witnessing, and serving one another constitute the principle means by which the women of Magnificat foster such holiness.
Magnificat ministry emanates from a desire to share with Catholic women the fruit experienced through the Roman Catholic Church and charismatic renewal. It is a response to what Jesus says in Matthew 10:8, "The gift you have received, give as a gift." Like Mary and Elizabeth, the women of Magnificat desire to be vessels through which the Holy Spirit is imparted to each other and to others through sharing the love of God each has received.

What is Lectio Divina? It means "Divine Reading". The intent of this bible study is to help you to read scripture in a prayerful way. The Lectio Divina has been long practiced in our Catholic faith and is a wonderful way to grow in our relationship with God. There are four stages of reading scripture in the Lectio Divina way. First read the word slowly, let the words pentetrate your spirit. Second, be reflective of what God is saying in the scripture. Consider that God is speaking to you directly. Third, respond to what God has just said to you. Talk to Him directly. Fourth, be still. Let go of all of your own thinking and rest in thoughts of God. Listen for God to speak to your heart by that small voice from within. At this stage God is helping you to apply what He wants from you to your life. Please share with us, as you feel lead, of how God is speaking to your heart today.
